GMI Metallized Polyester films are intended for use as high quality markings in applications requiring a metal appearance with rich luster, durability, and dimensional stability, i.e., custom product identification markings, appliances, molded jewelry boxes, and quality nameplates.
They will conform to curved or flat surfaces, making them superior for die cutting. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE.

Product Variations
Available w/removable acrylic and aggressive acrylic permanent. Can be top coated for improved ink adhesion. NOTE: Always pretest your specific substrate prior to actual application. |
Chemical Resistance
Good for most petroleum solvents and lower aliphatic alcohols. For ultimate solvent resistance, edge sealing is always recommended. |
Water Resistance
Excellent. Test piece aged 24 hrs. after application to stainless steel panel before testing. Not affected when immersed in 70ºF. water for seven days. |
Humidity Resistance
Excellent. |
Shelf Life
2 years when stored under conditions of 70ºF. and 50 R. H. |
