Scotchcal™ Translucent Film
2 MIL – 5 YEAR (except Gold & Silver)
Series 3630 translucent film is considered to be the premier translucent in the industry because of it’s dimensional stability. These translucent films are intended for use on flexible sign faces, flat acrylic and polycarbonate. Series 3630 films offer exceptional cutting, weeding, and lifting when used with automated vinyl cutting machines, as well as optimal printing characteristics.
3M Scotchcal Series 3630 translucent films are a durable, dimensionally stable, screen printable cast vinyl film. 3M translucent films are uniform in color in both reflected and transmitted light. The low surface gloss eliminates glare.
These films are intended for interior or exterior use on panaflex substrates 600/640-GPS and 945. Additional rigids such as flat acrylic, polycarbonates, PETG sheeting, glass, illuminated sign facias, awnings and thermoforming. These films are easy to apply wet or dry.
For application by hand, the use of detergent and water is recommended. Dry application by hand may leave some dark streaks that could be visible in transmitted light.
